At a recent Poinciana Town Hall Meeting Hosted by Osceola Commissioner Brandon Arrington the most often heard issue was the transportation problems facing the residents of Poinciana.

A recent newspaper article described how Florida ranks 47th out of the 50 states in spending the Federal Economic Recovery stimulus money allocated to it. This results in the lack of jobs and lack of much needed infrastructure improvements which the state needs. According to the article Florida has only spent 7% of the transportation stimulus funds that has been allocated to us.

All of this while our government representitives tell us Poinciana cannot get the roads that were promised because of lack of funding.
