Poinciana Residents for Smart Change
Work with government to provide additional infrastructure for Poinciana such as roads, sidewalks, streetlighting and other neighborhood amenities.
As the largest unincorporated community within the United States Poinciana faces many challenges. The year 2010 brought many opportunities to help improve our community. Members of PRSC have stepped up to those challenges and we are quite proud of our accomplishments.
According to the Poinciana Pioneer, the monthly newspaper published by the Association of Poinciana Villages,
during the month of Sept 2010 the Poinciana Villages once again saw a slight increase in the total number of homes and families.
PRSC has recently taken responsibility
for three Adopt-A-Road projects in Poinciana through participation in the Keep-Polk-Beautiful program.
PRSC Adopt-A-Road
We have helped our residents to work with our local governments to bring about improvements to the Poinciana community infrastructure. New sidewalks, repaved roads, new parks and recreational opportunities and greater public awareness are some of the programs our team focused on in 2010. Our embrace of the Adopt-A-Road program opportunities have provided our team with a way to give back to the community by helping to keep the roads clean and tidy.
