As an unincorporated community spread across two counties Poinciana is very dependent on both Polk and Osceola counties for maintenance and upkeep of our road transportation system.
Poinciana has 137 miles of county maintained roads on the Polk side and 125 miles of roads on the Osceola side.
We are also dependent upon both counties to provide upgrades to our highway network to provided roads capable of handling our traffic volumes.
