Poinciana Golf & Racquet Club is constructed.
1973 - 1 ^st family moves into Poinciana "The Sullivans" onto 4 Trophy Lane
1973 – The first official issue of Poinciana Pioneer in December of 73
1974 – The first child, Patrick Brown is born to Poinciana parents

1977 – Stokley Van Camp, now called Pepsico opens in the Poinciana Office & Industrial Park
1981 Poinciana Blvd. extended from 17-92 to U.S. 192

1992 – APV’s 20 ^th Anniversary Celebration

2002 – Poinciana Athletic Center opens, Harlem Globetrotter Curly Neal on hand for festivities
Lynx Bus Service Begins Operating in Poinciana
2004 Wal-Mart opens
2004 Poinciana Veteran’s Memorial is constructed

2005 Poinciana Health Dept. opens as grant money is approved


2007 – New Joint Polk/Osceola Fire Station opens.
